Thing > Room

A room in a lodging business, such as a guest room, meeting room, or other room available for rent. The property "brand" of "Product" has range "Organization". This property is inherited by "Room" and is used to identify the parent organization, such as "Hilton" that would offer a guest or meeting room as a product. The inherited property "manufacturer" is not recommended for use in this case. Instead, a new property "lodgingProvider" is created for "Room" and it has a range that is "LodgingBusiness". Values for "LodgingBusiness" could include markup with a "name" of a specific hotel such as "Anaheim Hilton". This same specific hotel could be a "member" of a brand "Organization" with the "name" "Hilton".
